Successful Gun-A-Palooza Event Contributes Significantly to Fairgrounds Revitalization
On Saturday, August 25, 2018 the Pickaway County Agricultural Society hosted Gun-A-Palooza at the fairgrounds with the intent of donating 75% of proceeds toward the fairgrounds revitalization. At the October 2018 PCAS monthly meeting Senior Fair Board President, Von Cremeans revealed that amount to be donated at a whopping $89,236.01, surpassing the board's expectations! A check made payable to the Pickaway County Community Foundation was presented by the board to County Commissioners Jay Wippel and Champ Henson as a gesture of thanks for their leadership, along with Brian Stewart, in initiating the much needed construction of the new fairgrounds.
Next year’s Gun-A-Palooza event will be on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
